Website Development
| After design comes the construction of the website using a number of programming techniques - macromedia flash, javascript, html - and image optimisation. Once the site is developed, it is then tested and redeveloped until it is ready for implementation on the internet i.e., it is ready to go "live" on the World Wide Web. The final development price depends on the nature of the website; a simple one or two page information site will be much less expensive than an e-commerce site for example. |
Website Maintenance
| When a website development is completed and the site goes "live" on the internet, a certain level of maintenance is needed to keep it running smoothly. Web address and web space costs must be accounted for, website downtime must be minimised and any site errors and problems that may occur must be solved quickly and efficiently. Depending on what you want your site to do for you, you may also need it to be updated or optimised for search engines every month. A maintenance contract can be arranged that can deal with any site service requirements and cover any regular tasks that need to be performed. |
